1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the VS Website Design website and services. By using our website or engaging our services, you agree to these terms in full. VS Website Design is based in Yorkshire, UK.
2. Services
VS Website Design provides website design, development, hosting, SEO, and digital marketing services. The scope of work for each project will be agreed in writing before work commences. We reserve the right to decline any project at our discretion.
3. Payment
Payment terms will be outlined in your project proposal. In general:
- ✓ A deposit may be required before work begins
- ✓ Final payment is due upon project completion
- ✓ Hosting and maintenance fees are billed as agreed
- ✓ Late payments may incur additional charges
4. Intellectual Property
Upon receipt of full payment, the client will own the design and content of their website. VS Website Design retains the right to display completed work in our portfolio unless otherwise agreed in writing. All third-party assets (fonts, stock images, plugins) remain subject to their respective licences.
5. Client Responsibilities
The client agrees to:
- ✓ Provide all required content, images, and information in a timely manner
- ✓ Ensure all content supplied is legally owned or licensed
- ✓ Review and provide feedback within agreed timeframes
- ✓ Not use our services for any unlawful purpose
6. Limitation of Liability
VS Website Design will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services or website. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service in question.
7. Hosting & Uptime
We aim to maintain maximum uptime for all hosted websites. However, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service due to factors outside our control such as server maintenance, third-party outages, or force majeure events. We will endeavour to resolve any issues as quickly as possible.
8. Termination
Either party may terminate a service agreement with 30 days written notice. Upon termination, any outstanding payments become immediately due. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate services immediately in cases of non-payment or breach of these terms.
9. Privacy
Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which are incorporated into these terms by reference.
10. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
